Candidates for Cosmetic Dentistry
Most people looking into cosmetic dentistry options fall into a few groups, depending on what’s bothering them and how much they already know about their options.
Just Want a Brighter Smile
Your teeth are healthy, just stained or dulled, and you want a simple, effective brightening.
Fixing Chips, Gaps, or Shape
You have healthy teeth with chips, gaps, or an uneven shape you'd like to change.
Several Issues at Once
You have several concerns together, like missing or worn teeth, that need a broader plan.
Not Sure Which Treatment Fits
You know something feels off about your smile, but you're not sure yet what to ask for.
Common Smile Concerns We Help Fix
Our aesthetic dentistry covers a range of smaller, focused changes rather than one single treatment. Here’s how we typically address the most common concerns.
Stained or Dull Teeth
Professional teeth whitening can brighten stains that store-bought products can't fully remove.
Chips or Minor Cracks
Dental veneers can cover chips and cracks. They can restore a smooth, natural-looking surface.
Gaps or Uneven Teeth
Custom veneers can close gaps and even out tooth shape and size.
Multiple Concerns at Once
Full mouth rehabilitation combines treatments like crowns, veneers, and bridges to address several issues together.

Porcelain Veneers
Our custom porcelain veneers cover chips, gaps, stains, or uneven shape, and typically last 10 to 15 years.
Full Mouth Rehabilitation

How to Keep Your New Smile Looking Its Best
Cosmetic dental treatments can last for years, but a few daily habits make a real difference in how long your results stay bright and intact.
How Long Results Last
- Teeth whitening lasts several months to a year.
- Veneers often last 10–15 years.
- Many smile makeover results last for years.
- Regular checkups help maintain your results.
Habits That Help
- Brush and floss daily to protect both natural teeth and cosmetic work.
- Keep up with routine checkups and cleanings.
- Rinse with water after eating or drinking anything that stains.
- Wear a night guard if you grind your teeth, especially with veneers.

Cosmetic Dentistry Cost and Insurance
The cost depends on the treatment and how many teeth are involved. Most purely cosmetic options, like whitening and veneers, are elective and rarely covered by insurance, but some treatments with a restorative element may have partial coverage. We review your options and provide a clear estimate upfront before treatment begins.
Insurance Accepted
We proudly accept most major dental insurance plans, including Cigna, MetLife, Aetna, Guardian, Principal, United Concordia Dental, and Delta Dental.
Flexible Payment Options
We also offer Cherry and CareCredit financing, so cost isn't a barrier to the smile you want.

Is Your Insurance Accepted?
Insurance coverage depends on your plan and whether the treatment restores function or is purely cosmetic. We'll verify your benefits and walk you through every option before you decide.
Technology That Helps You See the Result First
One of the biggest worries about cosmetic work is not knowing what you’ll end up with. We use tools that let you preview and approve the plan before we touch a tooth.
Digital Smile Planning
Digital imaging and X-rays let us map your tooth shade, shape, and proportions against your face, so your plan is clear before treatment starts.
Comfort-Focused Care
Most cosmetic treatments are minimally invasive, and we walk you through what to expect at each step so nothing comes as a surprise.

Planned Around Your Own Smile
Technology helps our cosmetic dentist in Avondale match results to your natural features, not someone else's smile template.
What You Can Expect From Your Cosmetic Treatment
The goal of modern cosmetic dentistry isn’t a different smile. It’s a better version of your own.
Natural Look
Every treatment is planned around your natural tooth shade and face shape, so the result looks improved, not like a cosmetic procedure.
Better Feeling about Your Smile
Once treatment is complete, our patients feel more comfortable smiling in photos and everyday conversations without holding back.
Realistic Results
We won't promise a "perfect" smile or a specific shade. We'll tell you honestly what's achievable for your teeth and what will look most natural.
What Patients Say About Their New Smile
Don’t take our word for it! Real feedback from people who’ve already gone through treatment can help you feel confident in what’s possible.

So like many (or maybe it’s just me) the dentist is always hard to go to because I don’t like needles. But I will say my experience from being greeted walking through the door to meeting my doctor and my service was one that has changed my perspective and I might have found a new home dental care. I went in through a suggestion from a friend and I am SO SO THANKFUL Dr. Ermias Mehretab. Everything thing he did he greeted me, explained what we were going to do next, and honestly I HATE needles but he truly had a soft touch and it felt effortless but allowed me to relax a lot more. Also his dental assistant for my time, Maria kept checking on me and brought me water and explained all to me before I left payment wise. Just great Overall great experince, love it and will be going back!Posted on Google![]()

FAQs
What is cosmetic dentistry?
It is dental care focused on improving the appearance of your teeth and smile, such as their color, shape, size, alignment, and overall harmony with your facial features.
How do I know if I need whitening or veneers?
If your teeth are healthy and just stained, whitening is usually enough. If you also want to change shape, size, gaps, or chips, veneers may be the better choice.
Will cosmetic dentistry look natural?
Yes, when planned around your natural tooth shade and face shape. The goal is a better version of your own smile, not teeth that look obviously artificial.
Is cosmetic dentistry covered by insurance?
Usually not for purely aesthetic treatments, though procedures with a restorative component may be partly covered. We'll check your benefits beforehand.
Is cosmetic dentistry permanent?
Some treatments, like veneers, last many years. Others, like whitening, may need occasional touch-ups over time to keep results bright.
Do I need to replace old dental work as part of this?
Not necessarily. We'll only recommend replacing old work if it's affecting your results or oral health.
What is considered a cosmetic dentistry treatment?
Any treatment focused on improving how your teeth look, like whitening, veneers, or bonding.
